Aldo Again

Aldo is back, and once again he has to reach the treasure chest at the end of each board before time runs out. Aldo Again is a single-screen platform game in the style of Donkey Kong: you climb ladders, jump over the barrels that come rolling at you and collect prizes along the way, which add to your remaining time. Whatever time is left when you reach the chest goes to your score. The controls are simple: the cursor keys to run and climb and the space bar to jump.

David and Benjamin Ibach made the Aldo games between 1987 and 1991, and this second one dates from 1989. It was released as shareware.
