Supaplex

Supaplex is a puzzle game from 1992, developed and published by Digital Integration, and it’s a great pick if you enjoy games that make you stop and think before every move.

Everything takes place inside a computer. You play as a little red ball with a smiling face, making your way across levels built from green circuit boards, grey hardware blocks, floppy disks, terminals and big grey balls scattered all over the place. Your goal is to collect Infotrons, and a counter in the bottom corner keeps track of how many you still need. The first level, fittingly called “Warm Up”, eases you in, but things get tricky soon enough. Plan your route carefully so you don’t box yourself in, and whatever you do, stay away from the scissors.

The game is freeware, so you can play Supaplex online for free right here in your browser with nothing to install, or download it and play offline. Log in to save your progress in the cloud and carry on from any computer whenever you’re ready for another round.
